The Great Illawarra Walk

For the 19th year running, we are proud to have stood alongside the Great Illawarra Walk - a community-powered event that brings neighbours, businesses and volunteers together to walk for a cause.

This year the Illawarra showed up in force: beautiful weather, incredible energy and, together, we raised over $50,000 for KidsWish. Seeing our community unite like this is a reminder of what’s possible when people come together to support local families.

We remain committed to supporting KidsWish and other local initiatives year-round. If you’d like to keep the impact going, please consider donating - every dollar helps fund programs and experiences for children and families in the Illawarra.

Supporting Southern Youth & Family Services

Southern Youth and Family Services (SYFS) plays a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people and families across the Illawarra and South Coast. Their work focuses on providing safe housing, family support programs, and practical services that help young people build stability, confidence, and a brighter future.

At LJ Hooker Wollongong Corrimal Shellharbour, we believe strong communities are built by supporting the people and organisations making a real difference locally. We are proud to support SYFS and the important work they do to assist young people facing homelessness, family breakdown, and other life challenges.
