About Us

Wollongong, informally referred to as "The Gong," is a coastal city in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. It lies on a narrow coastal strip between the Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean, about 82 km south of Sydney.

Enjoy a drive along the Grand Pacific Drive, or relax at the city’s surfing beaches and ocean rock pools. Explore walking trails that wind through the forests and rocky cliffs of Mount Keira in the Illawarra escarpment. To the north, you can watch hang gliders launch from Bald Hill, while to the south you can visit the Nan Tien Buddhist Temple or enjoy Lake Illawarra’s lagoon with its boating and fishing facilities.
