About Us

Wollongong, informally referred to as "The Gong", is a coastal city located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. Wollongong lies on the narrow coastal strip between the Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean, 82 kms south of Sydney.

Enjoy a drive along the Grand Pacific Drive or the surfing beaches and rock pools. Walk trails that encircle the forests and rocky cliffs of Mt. Keira located in the Illawarra mountain range. To the north, you can watch hang gliders launch from Bald Hill, and to the South visit the popular Buddhist temple of Nan Tien or enjoy the large lagoon with boating and fishing facilities located at Lake Illawarra.
